My name is Leonard. After publishing my PhD thesis I can officially claim to be a philosopher by trade.1 And I really am, though there is very little actual trading – in the sense of me receiving any financial compensation for philosophical services – going on at the moment.
Until that changes, I engage in philosophy in much the same way Euphrates did: I eat and drink, walk and look properly and go about my day in the right way.2
In order not to be so ominous about it: I am currently working as a route setter at the Kraftreaktor.3 Drop by if you have the chance, it is a nice bouldering gym and we serve really good coffee. In addition to that I spend my days as a househusband. I thus like to claim to be an economist in the proper sense of the word but the joke rarely seems to land.
This page is a place for me to discuss things that interest me. Which are, unsurprisingly, mostly philosophy and bouldering. If I ever get to if, there are a number of movies and books that I would like to review but we’ll just have to see if I ever get to it. I hope you find some of it interesting.
